Stat. Ch. 48, Secs. 2201-2207). The submissions of the proposal or bid by the Officer in response to the Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgment of and an agreement by the Officer that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act A Contract Bond for payment and performance is required in connection with this procurement. The bond shall specifically provide that the Principal must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (IL Rev. Stat. Ch. 48, Sec. 39(s) -1-12) The Owner reserves the right to reject any Bid for failure to comply with all requirements of this notice or any of the Bidding Documents, however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion.
