Cost estimate: Base bid: $150,000 Alternates: $30,000 Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the AVNCOG and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid made payable to the Allegheny Valley North Council of Governments, as guarantee if the Bid Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement with the AVNCOG upon Notice of Award of the Contract. The AVNCOG hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted or any part thereof or items therein for any reason whatsoever. The AVNCOG also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in the bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the involved municipalities. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with Allegheny Valley North Council of Governments. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Contractor shall furnish all supervision, technical personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services including utility and transportation services, and perform and complete all work required for construction of the project entitled: (insert project name), located at (insert location), (GEDTF Project Number: xxxx-GEDTF-xxx), in strict accordance with the Contract Documents, which are incorporated herein and made a part of the Agreement, for this project, including all Addenda hereto, as prepared by the (insert engineering company name) and the ALLEGHENY VALLEY NORTH COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS. LOCATION OF SITE This project is located at Peach Alley (Alley between 3rd and 4th Street), Oak Alley (Alley between Parker St. and North Avenue), Sylvan Way (From James Street to Dead end) and Walnut Street (From 1st St. to Athletic Ave) in Verona Borough.
