for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project known as Traffic Signal Installation, Maintenance & Emergency Repairs Brevard County Purchasing Services, on behalf of the Public Works Department/Traffic Operations, is soliciting bids for contractor(s) to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and delivery to perform all work and services to provide for installation, maintenance and emergency repair for the traffic signals and related infrastructure The work to be performed under the contract shall include, but without limitation, the furnishing of materials, labor, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to provide emergency on-call and/or routine traffic signal installation, maintenance, and repair, and for emergency and/or routine street lighting maintenance and repair, on an as-needed basis in various areas of Brevard County. The Contractor shall execute and complete all work so described in full conformance with the Contract Documents and shall perform all incidental work required to complete the work in a manner acceptable to the County. Such contact shall be for clarification purposes only. Material changes, if any, to the specifications will be transmitted by written addendum through Purchasing Services and posted online at VendorLink. The County will not notify Contractors of addenda. It is the sole responsibility of the Contractor to check the website prior to submitting a bid to verify receipt of all documents to include written addendum. Contractors shall promptly notify Purchasing Services, prior to submission of their bid, of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error, which they may discover upon examination of the bid documents. No interpretation of the meaning of specifications or other documents will be made to any Contractor orally, nor may Contractor rely on any such pre-bid statements in completing the bid. Every request for such interpretation must be in writing addressed to Purchasing Services at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Bldg. C, Suite 303, Viera, FL 32940, or emailed to the attention of James Norris at james.norris@brevardfl.gov. To be given consideration, such requests must be received in writing no later than Tuesday August 8, 2023, by close of business at 5:00 pm.
