CD 48-3.12.12 - Ice Plant Hill Remediation, East McKeesport. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual bid opening thereof. The TCVCOG reserves the right to reject any or all bids, alternates or parts of bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the Turtle Creek Valley Council of Governments in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. All work under this Contract will be performed on various locations within the Borough of East McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The Borough is located in south-eastern Allegheny County along the north bank of the Monongahela River, approximately eight miles southeast of the downtown area of the City of Pittsburgh. Should by-pass pumping be required for any reason, such shall be at the total expense of the Contractor, this shall include all required labor materials and equipment, and shall be performed in strict accordance with all applicable rules and regulations of the Allegheny County Health Department, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, the United Sates Environmental Protection Agency and/or any other agency who may have jurisdiction in such matters. The cost of by-pass pumping shall be included in the Contractor's Lump Sum Bids.
