Reference Number 0000326259 The Road Commission for Oakland County is requesting proposals for Fence Replacement - Lake Orion Garage as specified, located at 1100 South Lapeer Rd, Lake Orion, MI 48360. Lump-sum pricing. All communication and inquiries concerning this proposal shall be made in writing to the purchasing agent. Deadline for all written communication shall be end of business day on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Any response will be in the form of an on-line addendum which shall be acknowledged by prospective bidders Question Acceptance Deadline 08/10/2023 at 4:15 AM ET Questions are submitted online No General Requirements - FOB Destination Award Requirements - All or None Award RCOC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any part thereof. Any incomplete proposal and any proposal in which prices are obvious errors may be rejected. A non-conforming response to the specifications or terms and conditions will be considered non-responsive and may be rejected. Remove and replace approximately 3260 linear feet of fabric and wire - fabric will be 9 gauge at an installed height of 6 feet and have 3 strands of barb wire attached to an outward facing post cap bracket. Replace approximately 330 fence posts at 10 feet spacing. Line posts will be 2 3/8" and 10-foot-long. Posts can be driven in solid ground or installed with concrete reinforcement for less stable locations. Terminal posts will be 2 7/8" Top rail will be 1 5/8" and be continuous along fencing Tree, brush and stump and rock removal will be handled by RCOC. Trees and stumps will be processed before construction and any rock removal will be completed as needed Reinforcement wire will be installed at the base of the fabric Security will need to be maintained at the end of each day during construction, opening in fencing will need to be secure
