As envisioned, the scope of service for this bid will include the following components. 1. Construction of an addition to the Bulloch County EMS station described in the specifications. Building Specifications for EMS Building All work performed shall meet or exceed building codes for this jurisdiction. Contractor shall provide all materials and labor for installation as described herein. Contractor shall be a State of Georgia licensed contractor. This work does include site preparation. Awarded contractor shall provide stamped engineered or architectural plans prior to construction. Awarded contractor shall provide copy of drawings to Project Manager prior to construction start date. Building shall be designed for 110 mph wind load per code for this location. All work shall meet the Building Codes list on plans. provide labor and materials for an addition to the Bulloch County EMS Station located at 26 West Grady Street, Statesboro, GA 30458. Provide labor and materials for an addition/renovation to the Register Fire Station located at 12 Main Street, Register GA 30452. Questions not asked at the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be directed to the Purchasing Manager Question Deadline 10/02/2023 at 4:00 PM Answers to questions will be addressed no later than October 4, 2023, by 4:00 PM The hourly minimum rate of wage which may be paid to laborers, workers or mechanics in each trade or occupation to be employed in the performance of this Agreement shall not be less than such specified hourly minimum rate of wage in the performance of this Agreement as required by law. The Contractor shall secure and pay for all permits and licenses necessary for the prosecution of the work. The County and the Contractor agree that time is of the essence of this contract and that the Countys damages will be difficult or impossible to estimate should the Contractor fail to complete the Project within the specified time. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in bids, and to accept, in whole or in part, such bid or bids that may be deemed in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to use or not use any alternate bid associated with this solicitation.
