Cost Range: $1,400,000 - $1,575,000 HMA Resurfacing, HMA Full Depth Patching, Reclamation (CMRB), Milling, and Miscellaneous Related Items on Six (6) Roads in Calhoun County. Project Numbers: 21-95.09 Bridge Street (SC 6) 21-95.10 Community Club Road (S-158) 21-95.11 Monarch Road (S-414) 21-95.12 15th Street 21-95.13 Fourth Street 21-95.14 Weeks Landing Road Bids shall be considered only from bidders who are regularly established in the business called for and who in the judgment of the Owner are financially responsible and able to show evidence of their reliability, ability, experience, equipment supervised by them to render prompt and satisfactory service in the volume called for under this contract. All bidders for road paving and grading must be on the SCDOT list of approved contractors All questions, requests, and correspondence shall be addressed to the Project Manager, Brian Faulkenberry, brian.faulkenberry@ice-eng.com. All questions shall be in writing and submitted by August 20, 2023, COB. All answers and questions will be sent to all known plan holders. Bid Bond/Security: Required at 5% of the bid amount Performance Bond: Required at 100% of the bid amount Payment Bond: Required at 100% of the bid amount Bid Intent Not Available DBE Participation: Encouraged at 5% or greater. Calhoun County, acting directly or through his duly authorized representative, such representative acting within the scope of particular assigned duties or authority. Pre-Bid Conference: There will be no pre-bid conference. Substantial Completion: Project will be completed prior to November 30, 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
