The project consists of the installation of an electric boiler for a glycol heating system for deicing and heating of an existing concrete pedestrian bridge located at the College Township Municipal Building. The deck of the pedestrian bridge was recently replaced and at that time a pex tubing system was installed for the purpose of installation of a glycol deicing system. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to College Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each representing One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract amount. This project is subject to the Pa. Prevailing Minimum Wage Act. A copy of the Prevailing Wage Predetermination is included with the bid packet. The College Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Award of the contract is anticipated to occur at Councils regular scheduled meeting to be held on Thurs Sept 7, 2023 at 7PM.
