The Expected Expenditure amount of $250,000 for this commodity is an estimate for a one-year period based on past history and future projections. The quantity of any item when shown in the price schedule as an estimate of an annual requirement is only an estimate based on currently available information. The purchase of any such item or quantity is not guaranteed. Any offer conditioned upon a promise by the Contracting Entity to purchase a minimum or definite quantity of such an item will be rejected. See the specification bid packet for more information. To provide overhead doors and four-fold doors, repair and replacement parts, maintenance, and repair service at all Oklahoma City Fire Department facilities. The Fire Department has approximately 230 overhead doors and approximately 15 four-fold doors installed. The vendor must be able to respond to the high volume of calls and after-hour calls to 38 fire stations, Fire Logistics, Fire Training Center, Fire Prevention, Facilities, Special Operations, and Vehicle Storage Building. The vendor must stock a large quantity of parts needed to make repairs timely. Every effort shall be made on behalf of the vendor to lessen the need for return trips resulting in additional costs for the City. The reliability and dependability of the vendor is paramount to keep overhead doors operating properly. Problems in opening doors and securing the fire stations can result in delayed response and cause interruption of service to the public. Contract duration: 1 year
