The Work consists of the following 1. The Work includes but is not limited to a. Site Features: New Utility Feeds, Concrete Pavement, Concrete Stairs with Metal Railings, Storm drainage structures, Seeding. b. Structure: Poured-in-place concrete footings, foundation walls and floor slabs c. Building Envelope: concrete masonry, cavity insulation, metal building insulation system, membrane roofing. d. Interior Finishes: porcelain floor tile, porcelain wall tile, metal tile trim system, drywall ceilings, interior doors and frames, interior paint. e. Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Components The meeting will address project scope and description, answer specific questions and issues and bidding procedures and forms. Minutes of the meeting will be available by addendum. Afterwards, a site visit will be available for interested parties. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. In accordance with GS133-3 the following Owner preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the owner for this project: o Alternate No. 3: Preferred Brand Plumbing Fixtures and Operators o Alternate No. 4: Preferred Brand Lighting Fixtures o Alternate No. 5: Preferred Brand HVAC Units o Alternate No. 6: Preferred Brand Door Hardware All contractors are hereby notified that they must have a proper license as required under the NC state laws governing their respective trades. General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. General contractors submitting bids on this project must have license classification for General Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Addendum #1-#4 have been issued as of 8-17-2023.
