The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Reconstruct Water Distribution System - Ellicott Quad at the University of Buffalo, State University of New York. The project will replace approximately 8,300 lineal feet of underground, large diameter water main, and approximately 1,400 lineal feet of building interior, large diameter water main. The new system must accommodate peak domestic plus anticipated fire flows of all structures within the Quad. The project shall include a full hydraulic analysis and system modelling. This project will modernize and provide adequate water for the demands of fire safety, and potable water needs for all occupants. The Project will provide a comprehensive replacement of all underground water mains, valves, fire hydrants, and fittings. The project includes the replacement of the in-building water main feed, and associated valves and fittings. Associated in-building work include architectural modifications of walls, and mechanical/electrical systems. Other work includes replacement of exterior ground finishes including asphalt parking areas, concrete plaza and hardscapes, and grassed lawn areas.
