This Contract provides for the removal and replacement of six (6) ceiling mounted electric operators to be replaced with four (4) side mount electric operators with manual chain hosts and two (2) center mounted electric operators. Removal and replacement of four (4) center post electric operators that operate the center track/mullion systems. Replace all cables and pulleys, removal and replacement of all torsion bars, springs, cables, pulleys, hinges, and hardware, repair of vertical and horizontal tracks as needed and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the General Conditions. Failure to return the required insurance certificate, performance and payment bonds, and labor and materials bonds (if applicable), or failure or refusal to sign the Contract within 10 calendar days, shall be considered failure to execute the contract. All project-specific questions, requests for clarification, and requests for substitutions must be submitted in writing, via email, by Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 5:00 pm to Julie.Denton@cityofvancouver.us. If required, an addendum will be prepared and issued by the City of Vancouver no later than Thursday, July 20, 2023.
