The City of Chino Hills has established a program for the English Springs Lake water feature to minimize problems and keep it aesthetically clean and natural. The lake is part of the English Springs Park located on the southeast corner of Grand Avenue and Chino Hills Parkway in the City of Chino Hills. The City desires a multi-year agreement for the services of a contractor to perform all required maintenance as descried in the Scope of Work. The work related to this lake maintenance includes: System Comprehension, Monitoring and Servicing, Water, Pumps, Basin Maintenance, Floating Debris, Algae, Aquatic Life, Aquatic Plant Growth, Insect Growth, Routine Inspections, and Emergency Services. Questions regarding this Request for Proposal should be directed to Alexis DalPont, Management Analyst I, at adalpont@chinohills.org by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Only questions with "ENGLISH SPRINGS LAKE MAINTENANCE" in the subject line will be accepted. The contractor shall be licensed by the State of California and registered with the County of San Bernardino. The service representative shall possess a Qualified Applicators License (QAL), category "F" (aquatics), to perform work under this contract in compliance with government regulations. The successful proposer is required to obtain a City Business License prior to award of the contract, and to maintain the license for the entire term of the contract. The Business License is not a prerequisite for submission of a proposal.
