As part of the Cypress Lake Alternative Water Supply (AWS) Initiatives, the Tohopekaliga Water Authority (Toho) invites interested engineering consulting firms with experience in water transmission pipeline design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for design, permitting, bidding assistance, construction administration, and other related services for the US 17-92 Water Transmission Pipeline project. The US 17-92 Water Transmission Pipeline is approximately 16,500 LF along US Highway 17-92 from South Nocatee Street (in Intercession City) to the intersection of CR 532 and US Highway 17-92. This pipeline will eventually connect to a 9,500 LF portion of 30-inch water main currently in design along CR 532 from the intersection of CR 532 and US Highway 17-92 intersection to Toho Southwest Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Pipe routing may cross the Reedy Creek marshy area and may conflict with several existing utilities within the project limits. Consultant shall coordinate with the design consultant of the 9,500 LF portion of 30-inch water main for the exact tie-in point at the intersection of County Road (CR) 532 and US Highway 17-92.
