The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency and its constituent entities (SHRA) is soliciting for qualified, CSLB C-27 licensed landscape contractors to provide vacant lot and property landscape maintenance services at various locations throughout the City and County of Sacramento. It is the intention of SHRA to use the selected firm as the primary source of landscape maintenance of miscellaneous vacant lots and "streetscape" areas, as identified in the attached Fee Schedule. The intention is to also maintain each property in a safe, clean and visually acceptable manner within the community. The selected Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, licenses and permits necessary to complete weed abatement, clean up, and landscape services on SHRA owned property within the City and County of Sacramento. All questions, requests for clarification, and submittal procedures, requirements and selection procedures concerning this RFP are to be submitted no later than 10:00 am on Monday, August 14, 2023, via OpenGov Addendum (if necessary) issued:August 14, 2023, 5:00pm Notice of Intent to Award (anticipated):August 31, 2023 Notice of Award (anticipated):September 8, 2023 For bids in excess of $25,000, bidders will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Pursuant to the California Public Contract Code Section 22300 the Contractor may request that the Agency substitute a security in the amount of the performance retention. Section 00490 - Bid Bond is provided here. All General Contractors are required to use this Form.
