Provide a cost proposal to furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace lamps and ballasts. 1. Replace ten (10) burnt out stadium lamps and/or ballasts. During the mandatory pre-bid meeting, the exact number of lamps and ballasts to be replaced will need to be verified. 2. Contractor shall provide all lamps, ballasts and/or fixtures. The replacement lamps, ballasts, and/or fixtures shall be compatible with the existing ones. Also, specification sheets for the replacement lamps, ballasts, and/or fixtures shall be included as part of the cost proposal. 3. Contractor shall be responsible for providing the required safety gear for climbing and a snorkel lift to be used as necessary to replace the lamps, ballasts, and/or fixtures on the stadium poles. The cost proposal shall include the rental cost of a snorkel lift if necessary. 4. Contractor will provide required safety gear and equipment to replace lamps, ballasts, and glass lens, and follow all national and state electrical codes. 5. Contractor shall ensure that all safety work practices are enforced for the duration of this project. This includes providing appropriate signage and barricades for the project site. 6. Cost proposals shall be inclusive of all costs associated with this project. This shall include but is not limited to the following: taxes, travel, mileage, etc. 7. All work will need to be performed weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and coordinated with the School Administration. If work will be performed during non-work hours (i.e., weekends, holidays, etc.), the Contractor shall obtain approval from the Project Coordinator prior to starting any work. 8. Once the work has started, the Contractor shall complete all work without any delay or interruption of any kind. 9. Contractor will be responsible for the proper disposal of all defective lamps, ballasts, and/or fixtures. 2 10. Contractor to ensure that all work areas are clean and free from any debris generated from this project. 11. Contractor is responsible for any damages to the surrounding buildings, structures, and equipment incurred during the duration of this project. 12. Upon completion of the lamps and ballasts replacement, the Contractor will contact the Project Coordinator (Robin Camara) for the final inspection. All questions regarding this project must be submitted to the Project Coordinator by 430 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023. The responses to all questions submitted to the Project Coordinator will be addressed by Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
