SCOPE OF CIVIL WORK: The project involves the construction of the civil site work for a 274,000 SF industrial building located at the MidAmerica Industrial Park. The scope of work for the site civil bid package includes but is not limited to the following: EARTHWORK: Clearing and grubbing of the site; Demolishing existing structures and disposing of debris properly; Excavation and backfill for foundations, trenches, and utilities; Grading and leveling to achieve the required elevations and contours; Erosion and sediment control measures. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT: Installation of stormwater management systems (e.g., retention/detention basins, swales, culverts); Implementation of best management practices (BMPs) for stormwater runoff control. UTILITIES: Installation of water supply and distribution systems; Installation of sanitary sewer collection systems; Installation of stormwater drainage systems, Coordination with relevant authorities for utility connections and permits. ROADWAYS AND PAVEMENTS: Construction of access roads, driveways, and parking lots as per engineering and municipal requirements; Installation of curbs, gutters, and sidewalks for pedestrian safety; Striping and signage for traffic control. LANDSCAPING: Implementation of landscaping features; Selection and planting of trees, shrubs, and grass. Bidder is to submit the following information with its Bid to demonstrate Bidder's qualifications to perform the Work: (See Bid Support Questionnaire) A. Written evidence establishing its qualifications such as financial data, previous experience, and present commitments. B. A written statement that Bidder is authorized to do business in the state where the Project is located, or a written certification that Bidder will obtain such authority prior to the Effective Date of the Contract. C. Bidder's state or other contractor license number, if applicable. D. Other required information regarding qualifications. 3.02 A Bidder's failure to submit required information with the bid will disqualify Bidder from receiving an award of the Contract.
