The bid shall include all unit prices to provide labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for repair of Boyd County roads impacted by the June 2023 flood event. Copies of the Bid Documents and Specifications are on file and open to public inspection at the following locations: Speece Lewis Engineers, Inc., 906 S 26 th Street, Lincoln NE 68510 Boyd County County Clerks Office, 401 Thayer Street, Butte NE 68722 The bidder to whom a contract is awarded shall furnish within ten (10) days after the award a surety bond or bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. The form of the bonds and surety shall be acceptable to the Boyd County Board of Supervisors. The Boyd Board of County Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to pass upon the regularity, and to waive any irregularities. Awarding of the Contract will be in accordance with the provisions of Competitive Bidding; Consideration, COUNTY PURCHASING ACT, N.R.S. Sections 23-3101 through 23-3114, any competitive bidding requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, et. seq. The Boyd County Board of Supervisors will, at their discretion, award the contract based on the lowest or best bid. Boyd County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
