The Work consists generally of roadway widening, pulverizing, placement of approximately 250 tonnes of hot mix asphalt, storm structure and piping, structure adjustments, swale construction and restoration on St James Street. Concrete curb and brick sidewalk installation with restoration at the CN Rail crossing on Main Street. Concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, stamped asphalt, storm structure and piping and restoration at the Elizabeth Avenue CN Rail Crossing. Specifications may be obtained from Dillon Consulting Limited, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST). To obtain the tender documents and be registered on the bidders list please call 506-633-5000 or email mcorbett@dillon.ca . Original tender documents will be issued in hard copy via courier or in person at 274 Sydney Street, Saint John, NB and an electronic copy of the tender package will be provided by email. The electronic copy is issued for information purposes only while the hard copy forms the official contract documents. A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Hampton, in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Tender Price (including HST) must accompany each Tender. Tenders will be opened publicly at the Town Office as soon after the Tender closing as possible. The Town of Hampton reserved the right to reject any and all Tenders and also reserves the right to no necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
