The Project includes the following Work: The construction of a suspension pedestrian bridge which will extend over Elkin Creek near Carter Falls serving as a link along the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. The bridge structure is 150 feet in length with a 4-foot clear width and 6-foot overall structure width supported by pillars and anchorages on each bank. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated project web link. Prospective Bidders are urged to email the Engineer for the designated web link and to register as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated link in either electronic or paper format. The designated web link will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project.
