The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (hereinafter, "Metro") is soliciting proposals from qualified Tennessee registered Engineering Firms to perform civil engineering tasks (hereinafter, "Consultant") to provide best information in relation to the Imagine East Bank Vision Plan (hereinafter, "Plan") for use and direction for all development within the East Bank. The selected firm would be precluded from Metro owned projects within the East Bank. The scope of services identified below represents the minimum requirements and tasks that the Consultant will provide. The final scope of services will be negotiated with the Consultant. The tasks anticipated as part of the scope of services shall at a minimum include: 1. Base Mapping - Metro will be able to supply historical survey data. However, some survey gaps may exist. 2. Coordination with Metro Departments including but not limited to Metro Water Services, NDOT, Metro Parks, Metro General Services, Nashville Fire Department, Metro Planning, etc. 3. District wide compensatory Cut/Fill analysis for storm water regulatory compliance. 4. Preliminary Roadway Plan/ Profiles for: James Robertson Parkway (+/-2200') Woodland Street (+/- 2200') East Bank Boulevard (+/- 2300') 1st St. from James Robertson to Victory Ave (+/- 2100') Waterside Drive from James Robertson to KVB Bridge (+/- 3300') Victory Ave from Waterside Drive to East Bank Blvd (+/- 1100') The area bounded by the East Bank Blvd. KVB, Interstate Drive and Russell Street is not included (future Stadium area) and Russell Street, Interstate Drive and KVB to remain as-is. Plan, Profiles and Cross Sections for roadways would provide earthwork numbers vs. BFE + 1 foot to compare against required cut areas Metro reserves the right to issue additional rounds as it deems necessary for the purposes of evaluation. Additional rounds may include, but not be limited to, Offeror interviews. Metro reserves the right to make multiple awards for a contract if it is deemed in the best interest of Metro. The objective of this solicitation is to enter into an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Civil Engineering Services. Metro does not guarantee minimum or maximum purchase amounts for the requested services. Purchases shall be made on an as-needed basis by Metro via Purchase Order. No purchase is guaranteed, and no work shall be performed until receipt of Metro-issued Purchase Order. The contract period will be annual from date of contract, with the option to extend annually for an additional term of no more than 5 years from date of contract.
