A project to install an insulation layer above an existing roof on the Fair Community Center building and then to install a new standing seam metal roof above. It is preferred that the project be completed in the fall of 2023 but proposals will be accpted for spring of 2024, as well. Teton County is seeking proposals to add a new roof over the top of the existing roof of the Fairgrounds Community Center located at 305 W. Snow King Avenue in Jackson, Wyoming. The work consists of adding insulation panels over the existing roof, covering them with ice & water sheild, and then covering the ice & water shield with a standing seam metal roof with snow rails each side. Miscellaneous existing penetrations and fascia will need to be coordinated into the work for a complete, waterproof installation. Bid Security: Bid security shall be required for all construction, major maintenance, or renovation of any public building or other public work or improvement and when the anticipated contract price exceeds $150,000. Bid security shall be a bond provided by a surety company, the equivalent in cash, or another form of financial guarantee satisfactory to Teton County. Bid Security shall be in an amount equal to 5% of the amount of the bid. Performance and Payment Bond Requirements: Performance and payment bonds shall be required for all construction, major maintenance, or renovation of any public building or other public work or improvement when the contract price exceeds $150,000.00. The financial guarantee shall be 100% of the contract price. When the contract price is less than $150,000.00, any form of financial guarantee can be accepted, and the Department Director or Elected Official shall determine a reasonable amount for the financial guarantee between 50% and 100% of the contract price.
