On request, and to the extent Owner has control over the Site, Owner will provide Bidder access to the Site to conduct such examinations, investigations, explorations, tests, and studies as Bidder deems necessary for submission of a Bid The work is for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of Phase 4B at the Archuleta County Landfill as generally described as follows: Phase 4B Cell construction consisting of: Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil from areas to be disturbed. Excavation and grading of landfill cells, berms, and access roads. Installation of approximately 4 acres of scarified and recompacted in-situ clay, geocomposite drainage layer, and 1-foot of protective soils. Construction of perimeter roads and ditches. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with the State of Colorado. Archuleta County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner.
