The Project includes the following Work: Installing miscellaneous appurtenances, service connections, general asphalt/pavement work, replacement of sewer lines with diameters as specified, manhole rehabilitation as specified and shown in Contract Drawings. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office during normal business hours (call Issuing Office to verity normal business hours) and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of certified check, bank money order or a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid Bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Article 6 of the General Conditions, as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions, sets forth Owner's requirements as to performance and payment bonds, other required bonds (if any),and insurance. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by required bonds and insurance documentation.
