Each bid shall be accompanied, in a separate sealed envelope, by a certified or bank check drawn on a bank whose deposits are insured by the F.D.I.C. or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of $5,600.00 and shall be payable without condition to SANITARY & IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 278 OF SARPY COUNTY, NEBRASKA as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will execute the contract and provide an acceptable Contract Bond from an approved surety in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. Upon approval, the Owner will issue payment to the Contractor in the amount of 90% of the contracted value of the completed work as of the end of the preceding month, as recommended by the Engineer. Payment for the balance retained will be issued by the Owner upon completion of the work and approval thereof by the Owner's Engineer, City or Governmental approval when necessary, and acceptance by the Owner. Complete digital project bidding documents are available online for viewing or purchase. materials, and equipment required for the project designated as Tiburon Ridge Paving Maintenance 2023, and all other work necessary or incidental thereto, as per plans and specifications on file at the office of said Engineer, at which time Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and tabulated. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
