The Work consists of constructing a secondary (irrigation) water turnout / flow control / meter vault and pipe to deliver water from Provo River Aqueduct Pipe (PRA) to Provo Bench Canal at 400 North Lindon. It includes adding a collared 20-inch steel pipe welded outlet to a 126" steel pipe (PRA), sandblasting off existing Futura Protect II polyurethane lining and coating), sandblasting welded outlet (inside and outside), polyurethane relining (NSF 61) and recoating, CLSM backfill; buried 20-inch valve; cast in place reinforced concrete flow control / meter vault, functionally connecting vault to existing PRA fiberoptic / SCADA system; a new electric services and meter; controls, fan, lights, sump pump, hatch entry detection; approximately 980 feet of 20-inch (or 22- or 24-inch) and 24-inch HDPE DR 26 (or DR 21) pipeline; excavation and backfill, locating existing utilities, adjusting pipe profile in conformance with pipe deflection allowances, relocating conflicting utilities, precast concrete energy dissipator box with vent, connection to 48" Provo Bench Canal, repaving road, regrading and revegetating PRA ROW, startup and testing, and other Work. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. All questions and communication relative to the project shall be submitted through the SciQuest website. The last day to submit questions will be Monday, August 14, 2023. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of Lindon City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed will be accepted.
