Question Deadline 08/09/2023 at 3:00 PM ET This project/contract consists of constructing two (2) of the new Gateway Monuments in Gwinnett County, Georgia, along with limited site work and finish landscaping. The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of new Gateway Monuments in Gwinnett County, Georgia, along with limited site work and finish landscaping. The signage is a prototype gateway monument sign, which will be site adapted at multiple locations throughout the County. The scope of this project includes two (2) of those locations. One sign will be located in the northbound Right of Way of I-85 at Exit 99 Jimmy Carter Boulevard. The other sign will be located in the Right of Way of State Route 124 at Riverlake Way. Site location plans are included in the Bid Drawings. The sign is constructed on a shallow mat foundation. The main sign support structure is a steel tubular frame anchored using 1" anchor bolts embedded in the concrete foundation. The Base of the sign is constructed using partially reinforced CMU with a surface applied Granite Veneer and formed aluminum cap with textured coating. The main sign is an internally illuminated aluminum frame construction. Electrical and lighting are included in the scope of this Work.
