The Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District has been awarded grant funding for this project from the South Carolina Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP). This federally funded Community Impact Grant will be administered by the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (SCRIA) using State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds received through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The District is seeking a qualified firm for the design and construction management of the Chesnee Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrade Project. Because of the aggressive schedule to expend SCIIP grant funds, the District intends to use an alternative delivery method for this project due to its complexity In its sole discretion, the Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals. It is the policy of the Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District that local Minority and Women Owned Enterprises (MWBEs) shall be afforded the opportunity to participate fully in the overall procurement process of the Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District. This is an equal opportunity solicitation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
