A. Work Included 1. To assure adequate planning and execution of the Work so that the Work is completed within the number of calendar days allowed in the Contract, and to assist the Architect in appraising the reasonableness of the proposed schedule and in evaluating progress of the Work, prepare and maintain the schedules and reports described in this Section. This Security is Given as a Guarantee That the Bidder Will Enter Into a Contract With the Owner for the Construction of This Project, Furnish Satisfactory Labor and Materials, Maintenance and Performance Bonds and Insurance Certificates With Ten (10) Days After Notice of Award, and in the Event of Failure to Do So, Shall Pay to the Owner the Sum of Five Percent (5%) of Said Bid as Liquidated Damages. Prior to Signing the Contract, the Owner Will Require the Successful Bidder to Secure and Post a Performance Bond, a Statutory Bond and a Maintenance Bond, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Sum for All Contracts Over $50,000.00.
