The City of Amarillo is soliciting bids for the replacement of the roof at the Northwest Branch Library Question Deadline 07/31/2023 The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses or parts of responses, to waive any formalities and technicalities, and to accept the bid that can provide the goods or services at the Best Value to the City Contractor will water test all internal drains and notify the Facilities Manager of test results prior to starting work, else the contractor will be held responsible for any plugged drains. 2. This is a complete tear off project. Tear off all roofing materials to the deck and haul away. 3. Contractor shall be responsible for repairs to the deck as necessary. (A per square foot price will need to be noted on bid sheet). 4. Provide and install new insulated system with asphalt. Consisting of 2-layer 2.6 ISO, R- 30 per Amarillo City code. 5. Provide and install 1/8 taper system for drainage. 6. Install /z Gypsum Fiber Roof Board 7. Install 4 layers of Ply 6 roofing felts with asphalt 8. Provide and install new PVC roof drains to replace drains in walls in the Meeting Room and Amarillo Install new 3/8 clean PEA GAVEL in 60# of hot asphalt. 9. Same PLY system to be installed on wall (excluding gravel), with granulated cap sheet over top of parapet.wall with term bar 10. Install walk pads per manufacture recommendation to all equipment.
