This Bid contains instructions to prospective proposers and specifications for County Bridge 26509 (Hayfield Road) Emergency Repair. Proposals must be submitted to the primary issuing office no later than. Luzerne County is soliciting this Bid to secure for a base agreement period of one (1) year with a possible one (1) year extension. When a Performance Bond is required the amount of the performance bond will be fifty percent (50%) of the total cost of the proposal or bid submitted. All vendors and contractors may be required to submit a Performance Bond for any proposal over ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) to Luzerne County Purchasing upon contract award. Luzerne County Manger reserves the right to reject any or all RFPs or any part or items of the RFPs. With respect to responders that are permitted to provide certified checks, cashier's checks and/or trust company treasurer's checks in lieu of a bid bond, such checks shall be returned to unsuccessful responders within thirty (30) days following the award of the RFP and will not be cashed. LUZERNE COUNTY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LATE OR MISDIRECTED MAIL LOCATION: T587 (Hayfield Road), Lehman Township, Stone Arch Bridge over unnamed tributary of East Fork of Harvey's Creek; Lat/Long. 41.297918, -76.016238 Scope is to place 32 feet of 48" ID HDPE inside of the stone arch exposing approximately 5' of pipe outside of the parapet walls upstream and downstream. Upstream pipe will require a 22.5 degree elbow to better align with the creek and existing rock armor.
