A. The Work under the Contract consists of: 1. All Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the Specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. 2. The project consists of the renovation of approximately 2,400 gross square feet of existing space on the ground floor of Olney Hall. The space includes rooms G15, G17, G17A, G17B, G19B, G19C, G19D, and G19E. The primary goal of the project is to renovate these spaces to accommodate Dean Melikechs laser lab including the Shen set-up, femtosecond laser lab, and providing a shared prep lab and write-up space. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. The Project consists of: The project consists of the renovation of approximately 2,400 gross square feet of existing space on the ground floor of Olney Hall. The space includes rooms G15, G17, G17A, G17B, G19B, G19C, G19D, and G19E. The primary goal of the project is to renovate these spaces to accommodate Dean Melikechs laser lab including the. Olney Hall Laser Labs. Provide two new laser labs with prep space, hood, experiment write up space, and water system. These spaces will also be supported with new ACCU, Chiller, and exhaust fan. The demolition will include hazardous abatement. Fixed casework and some lab furniture will also be included. Estimated Cost $2,800,000 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
