PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project provides upgrades to Room 160 in Building 600 located on Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific, Naval Base Point Loma Seaside. The project shall renovate Rooms 160B, 160C, 160D, 160F, and 160M; and convert them into a COMPUTER ROOM, SERVER ROOM, and CONFERENCE ROOM. Project scope includes but is not limited to: Demolition of perimeter walls shared with passageways and all interior false walls within the project area. Demolition of raised access flooring system and suspended ceiling system. Demolition of electrical systems including underfloor busway system, underfloor cable trays, lighting system, panelboards, wiring devices, branch circuits, and data systems. Provide new security rated walls and doors complete with sound attenuation. Provide folding smart glass partition wall between the Computer Room and Conference Room. Provide demountable glass partition wall between the Computer Room and Server Room. Provide new wall, floor, and ceiling finishes. Provide new chilled water inline CRAH units and chilled water distribution piping in Server Room. Rework and modify existing VAV mechanical system to meet new space configuration. Rework and modify existing fire protection systems to meet new space configuration. Provide new electrical distribution and lighting systems. This project is Design-Build project. The requirements set forth in the RFP represent the project's minimum requirements. The drawings provided in Part-6 of this RFP are for Reference only. Contractor and their Designers-of Record (DORs) are responsible to provide final design and all coordinated components and construction to meet the requirements of applicable UFCs, Building Codes, NFPA, and all federal/local regulations, including NIWC Pacific Facilities Requirements, to accomplish a safe, functional, and useful facility as described in this RFP. All RFIs are due in writing no later than 2:00 pm on July 31, 2023. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 8-15-2023.
