The existing roadway surface on Hay Street between Penn Avenue and the Pittsburgh Regional Transit Busway entrance/exit will be removed. The existing roadway base will be removed, and new roadway base installed along with a new brick roadway surface. Two ADA curb ramps will be installed at the intersection of Ross Ave and Hay Street. Alternatives include 1) removing existing and installing new storm water catch basins, 2) resurfacing a portion of Sawyer Avenue, and 3) installation of an underdrain trench are included. Question Deadline: 08/10/2023 at 4:00 PM ET Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. The estimated cost for each Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. The Borough of Wilkinsburg reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough of Wilkinsburg, and to reject any or all proposals.
