Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide GSU Athletic Fields Maintenance to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Georgia State University (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. Georgia State University Athletics is seeking a sports turf and grounds maintenance provider who will be able to properly maintain three collegiate natural grass competition fields (Panthersville baseball, softball and 188 MLK soccer). Offeror will provide all labor, supplies, and equipment for the following tasks: mowing, fertilization/pest management, core aerification, sweeping of cores, topdressing, over-seeding, soil samples, and edging during a 12-month period. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to secure all equipment during and after use to prevent injury to citizens or any person not authorized to use such equipment. Upon completion of the workday, all tools, materials, and debris must be properly stored or disposed of, and any damages or spills repaired or cleaned up. All equipment and supplies necessary to perform these services (unless specifically excluded in writing) are the responsibility of the Contractor. Overview of the eRFQ ProcessThe objective of the eRFQ is to select one or more qualified suppliers to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this eRFQ to the State Entity. This eRFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award. All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below. After evaluating all suppliers responses received prior to the closing date of this eRFQ and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the eRFQ process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results.
