The project scope includes the construction of a new water plant and water line extention. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, from an approved surety, drawn to the order of Harris County WCID No. 99 in the minimum amount of Two Percent (2%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract, within Ten (10) days after receipt of contract documents. Bids without check or bidders' bond will not be considered. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond each in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The successful bidder must also provide a one-year (1) Maintenance Bond for one hundred (100) percent of the cost of the construction of the improvements that will be owned by Harris County WCID No. 99.
