**As of August 18, 2023, project was awarded to Miles Resources, awarded amount is $916,016.89.** This project provides for the improvements of Galvin Road in Centralia, Washington from Harrison Avenue to the east Chehalis River Bridge to include pavement repair, planing and paving operations, ADA ramp replacement, striping, permanent signing and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, Standard Specifications, and City of Centralia Standards. The City of Centralia hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by cash, bid bond, or certified check made payable to the City of Centralia, in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total bid. The bid shall be labeled Galvin Road Overlay Bid on the envelope. The City provides reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities. We invite any person with special needs to contact the City Clerk at 360-330-7670 at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the Bid opening to discuss any special accommodations that may be necessary. The City of Centralia reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive irregularities in the bid or bidding. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 8/7/2023 3:00 PM The Engineer's Estimate for the Project is $1,150,000 to $1,400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
