WCSU O'Neill Center HVAC Equipment Replacement Project Westside Campus Please provide the following as part of the Bid - 10% Bid Bond. A 10% Material and Labor Bond and 10% Performance Bond are not required as part of the bid but will be required as part of the award of Contract. Performance Bond: For all general bids in excess of $50,000.00, the Apparent Lowest Qualified Bidder, upon being notified by the Agency of its apparent lowest qualified Bidder status, shall within ten (10) days after notification thereof, substitute for the Bid Security accompanying his bid, a properly executed Performance Bond, in the form provided herein, in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract Price. Labor and Material Bond: For all general bids in excess of $50,000.00, the Apparent Lowest Qualified Bidder, upon being notified by the Agency of its apparent lowest qualified Bidder status, shall within ten (10) days after notification thereof, submit to the Agency an additional Bond, in the sum of not less than one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract Price. Bidders are required to provide a copy of the company's current certification. Also, DAS certified bidders must indicate their Set-Aside status by writing SBE/MBE on the lower left-hand corner of the envelope in which the bid is submitted. The CT Department of Labor's Prevailing Wage Rates requirement shall apply to this project. Question Deadline: 08/07/2023 at 4:00 PM ET Work shall commence within two (2) weeks of issuance of contract or letter of intent; all work must be completed no later than August 15, 2024. The University reserves the right to waive any technical defects in the bids, to reject any bids that do not conform to the terms described herein, and to accept or reject any part of any bid, and to reject all bids and, again, invite bids
