The estimated budget is $550,000. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. The replacement of existing pipe culvert at North Shore Railroad Milepost 207.66. Work consists of removal of existing pipe culvert, installation of new 102 reinforced concrete pipe culvert, construction of new Standard Ballasted Track with existing rail and OTM, approach track resurfacing, required site work, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. 2. Contractor shall provide all labor, services, materials, equipment, and incidental costs necessary for the performance, testing, start up, and completion of the Work. 3. Unless otherwise specified, all work shall be performed in accordance with generally accepted standards of construction methods and within the guidelines established by these specifications. B. Project will be constructed under a single construction contract. Contract 2023-03 includes but is not limited to replacement of the existing temporary plastic pipe with a new 106 diameter reinforced concrete pipe, rock lining at both inlet and outlet structures, installation of new ballast with existing track, raising, lining and surfacing approach tracks, and required site work. The SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority, and to reject any or all bids.
