Service to provide all labor and materials for the removal and propertly dispose of 30 ft 12 cast iron pipe Per attached specfications, insurance requirement and mass prevailing wage Any questions regarding Q And A Close: 07/28/2023 09:30:00 PM A. Vendors are requires to check off each line item in the specification indicating compliance with the specification and noting any exceptions or deviations to the specification. B. Remove approximately 30 feet of 12-inch cast iron pipe that extends from near the floor of the Gate House to a level indicator. C. Cap the pipe with mechanical type cap capable of holding 25 PSI downstream ofthe existing cooperation D. Cut pipe supports flush with existing wall. E. Properly dispose of all pipe and materials F. Site visit is required for rigging points and vehicle access point. Vehicles on the Dam are restricted to < 45,000 GVW. G. MWRA to provide daily access with Normal working hours 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday. Parking is across the street for all vehicles other then what is needed to remove the pipe from the building. H. 120 Volt house power is available at the facility I. Roofsupports not suitable for Rigging J. No rest room facilities are available on site K. LOTO of upstream valves to be coordinated with MWRA. L. Designated site safety representative to be onsite during the project. M. Contractor to adhere to current and State ofMassachusetts guideline for worker safety as it applies to COVD - 19. N. Work area to cleaned and returned to the as found condition or better at the conclusion of the project
