The Project Consists of the Following: o Coordinate With the Village of Florida Mayor or His/her Designate. o Water Treatment Building, Demolish the Existing Single Doors, Overhead Garage Door, Air Compressor Shed, Storage Shed, Overhead Wire Outside the Building, Three Filter Con-crete Pads, Building Wall on the West Side, Pipe Support Con-crete Pads. o Remove Three (3) Existing Filter Units. o Construct One (1) Building Wall Extension and Roof Extension. o Construct Concrete Floor Expansion and Modify Existing Floor for New Drainage. o Construct One (1) Generator Pad and Relocate the Existing Generator Including New Utility Trench. o Furnish and Install One (1) Weatherproof Generator Enclosure. o Construct One (1) Silo Pad. o Furnish and Install One (1) 12-foot Diameter Powdered Activated Carbon Silo System With Storage Capacity of 1,000 Cubic Feet. o Furnish and Install Two (2) Booster Pumps with Vfds. o Furnish and Install Two (2) Exterior Single Manway Doors. o Furnish and Install Three (3) Overhead Garage Doors. o Furnish and Install Three (3) Trident(R) Hs Package Treatment Units (Model 1 1/2 hs-700a) Including Valving and All Appurtenances. o Furnish and Install One (1) Dehumidifier With Associated Platform. o Furnish and Install One (1) Compressor. o Construct One (1) Blower Pad. o Furnish and Install All Piping and Valving for the Proposed System. o Furnish and Install All Temporary Piping, Valving and Other Necessary Items to Ensure Operation of Wtp While Construction is Ongoing. o the Contractor Shall Provide All Labor, Supervision, Materials, Equipment, Tools, Utilities, and Incidentals Necessary to Complete the Work as Specified in the Technical Specifications and as Shown on the Plans. o This Project is Funded With New York State Financial Assistance and is Subject to Mwbe and Sdvob Goals and Additional Required Documentation. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by an Acceptable Form of Bid Guarantee in an Amount Equal to at Least 5% of the Amount of the Bid, Payable to the Village of Florida as a Guarantee That if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Will Execute the Contract and File Acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds Within Ten (10) Days After the Award of the Contract. Owners Rights Reserved the Village of Florida Hereinafter Called the Owner, Re-serves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Formality or Technicality in Any Bid in the Interest of the Owner. Statement of Non-collusion Bidders Are Required to Exe-cute a Non-collusion Bidding Certificate Pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Attention of Bidders is Particularly Called to the Requirements Relating to Conditions of Employment to Be Observed and Minimum Wage Rates to Be Paid Under the Contract, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. Bidders Are Also Required to Comply With the Provisions of Sections 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York and All Other Applicable Laws and Regulations. The Village of Florida Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Insure That in Regard to Any Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Advertisement, Minority Business Enterprises Will Be Afforded Full Opportunity to Submit Bids in Response to This Invitation and Will Not Be Discriminated Against on the Grounds of Race, Color, Sex or National Origin in Consideration for an Award.
