Reference Number 0000329908 Question Acceptance Deadline 09/26/2023 at 10:30 AM MT Questions are submitted online Yes The City of Fountain, El Paso County, Colorado (City) is seeking written bids from qualified, experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Construction of US 85 / Indiana Ave Improvements Project No. STU M475-011, PC 20994, a Railroad Crossing Improvements project, for the city, as per these specifications and construction plans. This work is funded by Federal-Aid Funds with oversight from CDOT and City of Fountain funding. A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond made payable to City of Fountain, Colorado in the amount of 5% of your bid total must accompany your bid. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond The Contractor shall commence work under the Contract as specified in Revision to Section 108. The Contractor shall complete all work within 200 working days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Contract is a Working Day Contract, with the option for the CITY OF FOUNTAIN to allow work at night, weekends and holidays with approval by the Project Engineer. The CITY OF FOUNTAIN reserves the right to reject bids based upon exceptions to the standard contract terms and conditions.
