The City of Imlay City is requesting sealed bids for construction of a pavilion at Old School Park, located at 320 N. Almont Ave., Imlay City, MI 48444. The City of Imlay City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Please contact Ed Priehs, DPW Superintendent, with any questions at (810) 724-8712. Bid shall include the following for 24 X 40 Pavilion at Old School Park Excavation of site for structure shall include: - Remove 12 inches of topsoil. - Provide 16 inches of sand base for building pad. - Provide screened topsoil and grade, seed, and straw around pavilion as required after construction. Build 24 X 40 pavilion with following specifications: - 8-foot ceiling height - 6x6 posts 8' on center. - 2x10 double truss carrier around entire perimeter of building. - 4/12 pitch 2' on center hip roof truss package with 12-inch overhang. - CertainTeed Landmark dimensional shingle roof, color to be determined. - White aluminum fascia, soffit, and drip edge. - White 29-gauge steel liner panel ceiling. - 26x42 concrete floor 4-inch 3500 psi. Concrete shall extend 12 inches past outside of poles.
