The work consists generally of overlaying approximately 2.45 miles of road with hot mix asphalt of County roads located in western and eastern Placer County, and other items and details, not mentioned above that are required by the plans, specifications or the Special Provisions. The Number of Working Days for this project is 40. Construction License: The successful bidder must possess at all times, at minimum, a valid California Class A license or a combination of California Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work. Question Deadline: Thu Jul 20, 2023 5:00 PM (PDT) Electronic Auctions: Not Applicable There is no DBE goal There will be no pre-bid conference The successful bidder shall be required to furnish both a payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price on the form set forth in the Contract Documents. Submit your bid with bidders security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid. Bidders are informed that, pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22300, the successful bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the County to insure performance of the Work. The successful bidder must possess at all times, at minimum, a valid California Class A license or a combination of California Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The County reserves the right to waive any minor or immaterial irregularities in the bids Estimate for this project is $3,200,000
