The solicitation, W912P823B0023, is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed-price (FFP) procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or about 26 July 2023, and a bid opening date will be on or about 25 August 2023. Description of Work: Port Fourchon Navigation Channel, East and West Jetty Repair, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana (ED 22-056). The work consists of excavation of flotation channels as required for site access, placement of new stone for the repair of the east and west jetty, and construction on both jetties of a "bullnose" by placement of new stone at the southern end of each jetty. Barge mounted excavators and draglines will perform the work with associated attendant plant (tugs, crew boats, etc.) and all associated incidental work thereto. (The estimated time of completion is 180 calendar days for Base Work and an additional 60 calendar days for Option Work, if optional work is exercised, after receipt of notice to proceed. The solicitation will include 15 drawings and specifications). The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All qualified business concerns may submit bids.
