Installation of Sound/Speaker System for the Red Clay Theatre. Proposal must include materials, labor, tools, equipment and all other miscellaneous and/or necessary items for the purchase and installation of a new speaker/sound system. The required time of completion is no later than 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of the written Notice to Proceed. Deadline for Bidder/Proposer question submittal is 4 pm on August 8, 2023. A final addendum will be issued on August 11, 2023 (if necessary). OWNER reserves the rights to waive any informality or to reject any or all Proposals, to evaluate Proposals, and to accept any Proposal which in its opinion may be in the best interest of OWNER. No Proposal will be rejected without just cause. OWNER requires proof of general liability insurance as licensed in the State of Georgia. Contractor understands that time is of the essence for completion of the project and, because damages will be difficult to ascertain, the parties shall include a provision in the Contract agreeing that liquidated damages in the amount of two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day shall be paid by Contractor for each day that Contractor is in default of completing the work within the agreed-upon time frame. Payment for job shall be 50% of bid amount upon execution of City Attorney approved contract with remainder of contract paid upon agreed upon milestone progress project. Cost (on the proposal form) is weighted at 60% and experience in like projects (within last 10 years) is weighted at 40%. Do not exceed two (2) pages for the proposal and include an explanation of the speaker/sound system along with contact information of the owner. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
