The City of Antigo (hereafter referred to as the City), a governmental entity, is requesting bids for the replacement of their sludge transfer pump. This pump transfers dewatered sludge from the gravity belt thickener (GBT) to sludge storage. Notwithstanding any other provisions of the Request for Bids (RFB), the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity or informality in the bid, and to accept or reject any item or combination of items, when to do so would be the advantage of the City and its taxpayers. The existing pump is a Moyno 2000 progressive cavity pump model 2F022G2M05CDQ5ASEX, capable of 60 GPM operation. In order to avoid unnecessary structural changes and adaptations, the City would like to replace this item in kind. The City is also requesting an optional larger model 2G036G2M05CDQ5ASE-X which is capable of 80 GPM. Other pump options will be considered but the contractor will be responsible for any adaptations. This bid should include the following items: Option 1 2F022G2M05CDQ5ASE-X 1. Pump w/shaft sleeve & hardened rotor, 10 HP motor and new VFD 2. Base for motor and pump 3. Belt and pully system 4. Belt guard 5. Discharge guage 6. Removal of existing pump and components and installation of new, as well as training and start up of the new system. 7. Warranty The City of Antigo (hereafter referred to as the City), a governmental entity, is requesting bids for the replacement of their sludge transfer pump. It is further within the right of the City to reject bids that do not contain all elements and information requested in this document. The City shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the proposer throughout this process. The cost of preparing a response to this RFB is not reimbursable in part or in whole to the proposer. Any bid received will become the property of the City and become a matter of public record so any proprietary material or information should be marked as such and submitted as a supplement to the bid allowing the City to protect such information as warranted.
