PROJECT INCLUDES REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING FIRE ALARM DEVICES, INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF NON-ADDRESSABLE DEVICES WITH ADDRESSABLE DEVICES Please direct questions regarding this project to the office of the Consultant, Hargis Engineers, Inc., Attn: Doug Svee, telephone (206) 448-3376, e-mail doug.svee@hargis.biz . Within 72 hours following the bid opening Question Deadline 08/05/2023 Scope of Alterations work is as indicated on drawings and specifications. In general, the scope includes: install a complete fire alarm system including new devices or device replacement within specific buildings on campus. New raceway, wiring and devices are required where indicated in the Contract Documents. The building systems will remain operational during the replacement or upgrades and reprogramming of the workstation as well as developing graphics to align with the new work will be required B. Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. C. Plumbing: None, keeping existing in operation. D. HVAC: Alter existing controls were required for fire alarm system improvements. E. Electrical Power and Lighting: modify and extend 120V power to fire alarm equipment as required by final design and fire alarm system shop drawings. F. Fire Suppression Sprinklers: None. G. Fire Alarm: Modify building systems as described in the contract documents. The existing fire alarm network is to remain operational and should not be impacted or changed with the building system improvements. Add and/or replace fire alarm system devices with new and restore existing network to operational condition. The Project consists of the fire alarm system device replacements and upgrades for existing buildings on the Rainier School campus.
