Exterior, Interior Rehabilitation, Lead Abatement and Related Work Att bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee which shatt be in the form of either: a) a bond secured by a surety company acceptabte to the U. 5. Government and authorized to do business in the State of Ohio. The amount of the bond shatt be for the futl (100%) amount of the bid, plus atternates; b) a certified check, cashier's check, bank draft or irrevocable letter of credit. The amount of the certified check, bank draft, irrevocabte tetter of credit shatl be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, ptus atternates. The Bid Guarantee sha[[ insure the execution of the contract and the furnishing of a method of assurance of completion by the successful bidder. The assurance of comptetion shall be: (1) a performance and payment bond in the penat sum of 100 percent (100%) of the futt amount of the contract; (2) a twenty percent (20%) cash deposit; or (3) a twenty five percent (25%) irrevocabte letter of credit Each bidder must insure that all employees and appticants for emptoyment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, retigion, sex or national origin. The Akron Metropotitan Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or at[ bids, to re-advertise our bids, and to waive any informatity in bids received whenever such rejections, re-advertisement or waiver is in the best interest of the Housing Authority, No bid shatt be withdrawn for a period of (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Akron Metropotitan Housing Authority.
