The Fort Smith Regional Airport (FSM) will be accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) firms to (1) provide preconstruction services that include assisting in the finalization of the design process and (2) provide CM/GC construction services for the Runway 8-26 - BAK-12/14 Aircraft Arresting System Improvements. The Owner intends to make selection utilizing qualifications-based selection. Respondents submitting an SOQ shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the project is located, pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203. The Fort Smith Airport Commission reserves the right to reject any or all SOQ's and to waive irregularities therein, and all Respondents shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Fort Smith Airport Commission for any damage or claim brought by any Respondents because of such rejections, nor shall the Respondents seek any recourse of any kind against the Fort Smith Airport Commission because of such rejections. The filing of any Respondent in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Respondent to these conditions. There are no limits on number of participants, but prospective Respondents are encouraged to limit participation to necessary personnel. In lieu of attending the meeting in person, prospective Respondents may attend virtually.
